Life Lessons I Learned at 30
I am no life-guru but looking back on my 20's I can honestly say life has truly dealt ya girl a hell of a hand (that I feel I’ve played pretty well). I wrote this list while in Cabo for my 30th birthday. This trip I was able to relax and really take in the beauty and peace that comes with sitting still, reflecting and drinking an undisclosed amount of margaritas!
(I tried my best to make this a list of things I have actually learned and not just a collection of Pinterest quotes lol).
Adulting sucks... sometimes.
Life is not always fair.
Point. Blank. Period.
The Chic-fil-A and Starbucks Apps are an absolute MUST.
The amount of free nuggets I have accumulated over the last few years is ridiculous.
Splurge on expensive sheets and skincare.

Listen to your intuition.
Step outside of your comfort zone.
This is sooo important and something I have always struggled with. I always tell people the best thing my job did for me was force me to be based in New York City my first year of flying. It was the scariest thing I have ever done, but I had the time of my life and learned independence.
Learn when to say NO.
Therapy is important.
Honestly just go see “the lady” lol. No, but seriously, just try it. You don’t always have to have some major life change to see a therapist.
Wear the outfit you’ve been saving for the “right time.”
COVID definitely taught me this because I have so many fits waiting to make their debut lol. So even If that means being #TeamOverdressed, go for it!
Fasting is important for mental and spiritual health.
Whether you fast from food, alcohol, or social media, etc. It is important to have that reset.
Parents are humans too.
Turns out self-care is actually important.
Whatever self-care is to you, make time for it!
Everything happens for a reason.
I knowww it's cheesy, but it's true.
Change is the ONLY constant in life, embrace it.

Do not open a HomeGoods credit card.
Your mom was right.
About him, them, it, they….she was actually right about a lot of things.
Learn to be ok with being alone.
You are responsible for your own happiness.
People want to see you do good, but not better than them!
Whew!
Spend money on experiences, not things.
Ok, another cliché… but sooo true.
Mix a little tequila in your champagne.
Thank me later.
Forgiveness is for yourself, not the person who wronged you.
What are some life lessons you would share with your younger self if you could. Let me
know in the comments!!
